It’s not just aimless tapping, but following the rhythm of the forest. Each time the crank is turned, the woodpecker pecks four times, then pauses once, perfectly mimicking the behavior of real birds. It utilizes a cam mechanism paired with rubber band tension to store and snap-release energy for sharp, crisp pecking actions.
