我家牆上時常有壁虎出沒，牠們總是以獨特的節奏扭動著身體，快速地從牆的這一頭爬向另一頭，偶爾還會發出「喀、喀、喀」的響亮叫聲，有時候真的會把我嚇一跳！在長期觀察牠們移動的姿態後，我覺得這種在牆上擺動前進的動態非常有趣。

Geckos are frequent visitors on the walls of my home. They wiggle their bodies, dashing quickly from one side of the wall to the other, occasionally making loud “tch-tch-tch" clicking sounds—which sometimes gives me quite a start! Watching them move, I found their wall-crawling wiggles incredibly fascinating.

This little reptile neighbor inspired me to design The Wiggle Lizard (Automata), capturing that captivating, rhythmic movement through mechanical ingenuity.
