Rock Fans (Automata)

“Rock Fans" is an automata example work I designed for the National Taiwan University of Arts course. This is a work with an uncomplicated structure, and only one crankshaft is used to drive the operation of the entire figure to demonstrate the commonly used Automata design principles.
Before the release, I modified some designs, added more details, and optimized the printing design to reduce the need for supports as much as possible. I hope that players can experience the endless fun brought by mechanical movement while printing their works.
I use this automata to commemorate my 80’s, a young age with high top sneakers, t-shirts, skinny jeans, and rock music on the Walkman.
