“The Flying Dragon automata" and the “Rock Fan automata" were designed as teaching examples for a Taipei National University of the Arts course in April 2022. The two works have the same basic structure but different operation dynamics were generated after modifying the linkage structure.
In March 2023, I optimized the printing design and completed it after several iterations and modifications.
The same mechanism and a new theme have become a completely different work.
This is an interesting aspect of automata art.
